ETAP PowerStation Portable requires no installation. Unzip it into your memory stick and run it to any computer running windows (not tested on Vista).

ETAP PowerStation is a fully graphical electrical transient analyzet program that can run on Windows XP or lower (not tested on Vista) environmets.It provides large network analysis requiring intensive computation and online monitoring and control applications.

ETAP PowerStation allows you to work directly with graphical one-line diagrams and underground cable raceway systems. The program has been designed to three key concepts:

1. Virtual Reality Operation – The program resembles real electrical system operations as closely as possible. It incorporates new concepts for determining protective coordination directly from the one-line diagram.

2. Total Integration of Data – It combines the electrical, logical, mechanical and physical attributes of system elements in the same database. Cables, for example does not only contain electrical properties but also physical dimensions and the information indicating the raceway which it is routed which could be used for load flow analysis.

3. Simplicity in Data Entry – It keesp track of the detailed data for each electrical apparatus. Data editors can speed up the daa entry.

PowerStation’s one-line diagram supports a number of features to assist you in constructing networks of varying complexities. Each element can inidividually have varying orientation, sizes, and display symbols (IEC or ANSI). The one-line diagram allows you to place multiple protective devices between a circuit branch and a bus.
